Agile Daily Scrum (also known as a daily stand-up or daily stand-up meeting) is a short meeting that is held every day as part of the Agile software development process. The purpose of the Daily Scrum is to provide a regular check-in for team members and to ensure that the team is on track to meet its commitments for the current iteration. During the Daily Scrum, each team member is expected to briefly report on their progress since the last meeting, any obstacles they have encountered, and their plans for the next 24 hours. The Daily Scrum is designed to be a focused and efficient meeting, and typically lasts no more than 15 minutes.
